From the terrace of the apartment Ruža is a beautiful view of the island Šćedro, Korčula, the Pelješac peninsula, and the open sea. The terrace is surrounded by many species of Mediterranean plants and as such provides an ideal place to relax and enjoy the colors and scents of the Mediterranean. In Zavala, you can easily live to the fullest because Zavala is a haven for body and soul. Nearby is the newly built church, a small supermarket, and several restaurants so that guests can meet all their needs.
Numerous sandy and pebbles beaches and secluded coves offer peace and total relaxation away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Promenade (Lungo Mare) to the sea connects all parts of Zavala and as such provides an ideal opportunity for a relaxing stroll along the sea at all times.
Only one apartment for rent is a separate floor of the house so you are the only guests. The apartment is 60m2 + 40m2 terrace. It consists of two bedrooms, kitchen, living room and bathroom. The apartment is fully equipped (wi-fi, satellite tv, air conditioning, washing machine). Kitchen: gas cooker, refrigerator with freezer, microwave oven, electric kettle, coffee maker, dishes and utensils. Bed linen and towels are changed once a week or more often at the request of the guest. On the terrace there is a dining table with 6 chairs, a sitting set (sofa, two armchairs, and a table), deck chairs and parasols and part of the terrace has a natural shade. The terrace offers a beautiful view of Peljesac, Scedro, Korcula and the open sea. The parking lot is in a fenced yard full of Mediterranean herbs, olives, almonds, oranges, lemons, lavender, rosemary, and various flowers and herbs.

Zavala is a small fishing village on the south side of the island of Hvar surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, lavender and rosemary plantations. The illuminated promenade (Lungo Mare) by the sea provides an opportunity for a relaxed walk and a choice of beach for everyone's taste (stone, pebble). Since there is no mass tourism, you will find your peace and enjoy the scents of Mediterranean plants and the crystal clear sea. In Zavala, we have several restaurants, a shop, a bakery, and two beach bars. Zavala is 6 km from Jelsa, 15km from the ferry port in Stari Grad and 30 km from the town of Hvar. In Zavala, it is possible to rent a boat, kayak, jet ski, scooter. During the season the excursion boat for the island of Šćedro (twice a day) operates. The fish can be bought directly from the fishing boat and there is a good offer of quality local wines.
The island of Hvar is the sunniest Croatian island (2718 hours of sunshine a year), known for its lavender and famous Hvar wines. In recent years it has also been known as an unavoidable destination for world jet set, but at the same time, it provides an opportunity for rest in the peace and quiet of smaller towns.
In the town of Hvar, visit Fortica fortress, which offers a magnificent view of the town of Hvar and the Pakleni Islands, and a collection of amphorae and other exhibits from antiquity and the Middle Ages. Visit the Arsenal of Hvar, which is the oldest public theater in Europe. In the Old Town, visit the Hektorovich Palace and the Stari Grad fields, which dates from the time of Greek colonization and is under UNESCO protection.
